Civil war artifacts can be found where old forts have stood in the past, anywhere armies were billeted and in some cases where battles between the Indians and the army took place. But the best place to start looking for Civil War Artifacts is where civil war battles have taken place. Do some research on the civil war battles of Brooke, Natural Bridge, Olustee, Saing Johns Bluff, Santa Rosa Island, and Tampa.
Lobsters

Lobster hunting is becoming a favorite pastimes for many divers. These tasty crustaceans, also known as bugs to divers, are delicious. But in order to capture a lobster you must first find them. Lobsters need places to hide from other predators so prefer corral reefs, rocky area, old shipwrecks and man made areas where there are plenty of holes to hide in.
Megalodon Tooth

Have you ever seen someone with a really cool shark's tooth necklace and wondered how they got it? Chances are they didn't really wrestle that big shark and yank out the tooth as a trophy or prize, but they found a place where you can get some shark teeth and bought it themselves. If you're interested in fossils you may already have knowledge of megalodon teeth and realize that these are not collectibles that you can wear around your neck, but are truly a prized find for any treasure hunter.
Morel Mushrooms

Hunting for morel mushrooms typically runs from early April and runs through June depending on your geographical location. Moral mushrooms are found in small patches under dead or dying elms, ash, apple and even pine trees. The seem to like to hide under or near thickets or other plant small plants growing in the area but since the ground cover varies a lot each patch of mushrooms you come upon may be growing in totally different conditions. Typically the day time temperature around 60 to 70 degrees, night time temperatures not less than 40 degrees and the soil temperatures of about 50 to 60 degrees with good ground moisture levels are ideal for moral growing.
Sunken Treasure

One of the more popular treasure hunting enterprises is run by the decedents of Mel Fisher out of Key West Florida. If you are willing to invest in the business they will allow you to dive on the Nuestra Senora De Atocha and Santa Margarita Spanish galleons that were sunk by a hurricane on September 6, 1622. All treasure uncovered during the year are shared by all investors of that year.
